Sometimes it's all about the utensils, when talking about food to your kids. Well, it must be quite frustrating at first, when you find out that your kids is a picky eater. But wait.., after few experiment that I've done while serving a meal for Syana, I realize that she is not so picky for food after all, but more about the cutlery! For example, when I change her regular plate into fancy Hello Kitty plate, or the 'kiddo' fork with 'adult' fork (but with super dull tip), her mood becomes better, and also her appetite. Oh and she loves surprise on her plate. So I always try to do some extra treatment to avoid the picky eater syndrome, usually by let her pick her own favorite cutlery.

Syana and Ginger Embroidery Cushion
..
Syana is so addicted to cat. Although I still in doubt to let her have her own cat, but my neighbor's cats always become her favorite. She also likes balloon a lot! One day when we went to the grocery store, she saw a pack of assorted color balloons and immediately asked me to buy it. Since we don't have the pump, my husband and I were blowing out all of those balloons until our cheek felt so puffy and swollen, hahaha.. but it was so much fun, lol. Then I'm inspired to make cushion for her with cat and balloon embroidery on it.

Tutorial: Foxy Rolling Brush Pouch
Lately my obsession of painting is growing into new level of collecting and comparing art tools, including paints, brushes, and papers. My latest art tools collection is two sets of brushes, the flat and round, that my father bought me a few weeks ago while I visited him with my daughter. I'm so grateful that my father is always supportive in everything I do, especially when I decided to become a full time mother and spend my spare time doing crafty things.

Sleepy Mermaid Pouch
One day my daughter asked me to draw her a mermaid, and I'm so excited to draw it because mermaid is one of my favourite character too. Then I suddenly came up with the idea of making pencil pouch, since my drawing tools seems exponentially increasing in the past few weeks, and my older pencil case is full with my sewing tool (which is rapidly growing too :-p).
